Running AQT v11 under Linux

There are two options for running AQT under Linux:

using Wine (which allows Windows applications to be run in Linux)
using Mono (which is a Linux implementation of the .Net framework)

AQT v10 with Wine

AQT v10 does not run well under Wine. A number of parts of AQT (for instance menu-bars) do not display correctly and are unusable. This may be resolved in the future in future releases of Wine.

AQT v10 under Mono

AQT v10 does not run under Mono. The third-party components we use (for instance the Grid component) do not run in Linux / Mono. This makes AQT unusable in this environment.
